AYCLIFFE - GREAT OPPORTUNITY !!! 3M - Test Laboratory Technician Apprentice Weekly Wage £ 192.30 You will undertake duties related to product testing, equipment maintenance and quality systems maintenance for the Personal Safety Division Test Laboratory which in turn supports the development and launch of new products and manufacturing activities of the European OH&ES business. Technical employees in the test laboratory have the responsibility of ensuring that any required testing meets the requirements of the relevant standard, Laboratory Operating Procedure and / or Laboratory Test Method and that all equipment used for testing is within calibration when required, however the Quality Supervisor has the overall accountability and provide instructions. • You will perform routine or complex laboratory tests, experiments and analyses as outlined by technical personnel or laboratory supervision. This will include maintaining the equipment and work environment used by personnel within the laboratory. • You will be responsible for carrying out audits as required to maintain training capabilities and relevance of test methods and/or operating procedures and calibration records. • Any test specimens and all test data generated is of a confidential nature and precaution shall be taken to prevent disclosure of this information to any unauthorised parties.
