USE IT OR REGRET IT National Youth Development Agency There is always a 2nd Chance, access the 2nd Chance Matric Revision Programme brought to you by the NYDA and ETDP Seta The National Youth Development Agency in partnership with Education Training Development Practitioner Sector Education Training Authority (ETDP SETA) will be implementing the NSC 2nd Chance Project to afford people who have failed matric a 2nd chance to obtain their National Senior Certificate. The NSC 2nd Chance Project will target 4325 matriculates who wish to rewrite matric for the 2015 exams in all nine provinces of SA. Learners will be offered tuition on Physical Science, Maths, Accounting, Life Sciences & English. The learners will also receive NYDA & ETDP SETA products and services that include Career Guidance & Job Preparedness Training to prepare them for the world of work. Learners who wish to be part of the NSC 2nd Chance Programme have to meet the following selection criteria: - The learner must have completed Matric in 2012, 2013 and 2014 - Want to repeat one to four of the following subjects: English (FAL), Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting and Life Sciences - The SBA (School Based Assessment) marks need to be still valid - They must supply a certified copy of identity document; previous statement of results and proof of exam registration is required (if already registered to rewrite their matric exams). All young people that are interested to apply for the NYDA NSC 2nd Chance Matric Rewrite programme are urged to please send through the application forms and the supporting documents to their nearest NYDA branch or Local Youth Office.
