Aaaaaaand, I did it again. Tomorrow would have been 5 full months (HAH, take THAT! Got in under the wire.) So, I didnt post anything about it but I changed jobs earlier this year and coupled with being a little burned out on writing after Dark Coup and some other responsibilities...well, I havent been writing so much. However, I havent been not writing at all. I have two projects that Im working on. Unfortunately for some of you, neither of them are in the Dark Grid universe. Im actively writing them now, however which is more than I can say for the first 10 months of the year. I even put down about 1500 words today on one of them. My goal is to have at least one of them out by June or July of 2015. On a semi-related topic, does anyone have any inside knowledge of Artificial Intelligence systems? ;) I havent toyed with anything in the Dark Grid universe but Ive received a few suggestions...so, Im going to throw something out there: Is there anything specific you would like to see focused on in a future Dark Grid storyline? Now dont get too specific and try to outline the whole thing but is there a character or set of circumstances you would like to see explored? As a reward for responding to this (no deadline yet but dont be like me and only get on every 5 months), Im offering to redshirt you in one of the upcoming books. For those of you who dont know what redshirting is, Im offering to use your name (if you would like or a nickname), likeness such as personality quirks or character traits and if you would like, physical description for a character in an upcoming book. That having been said, I cant make any promises as to level of importance in the story but itll most likely be more than a walk-on, bellhop role. I will also promise not to kill you off (unless you just really, Really, REALLY want to get offed in the book). Outside of that, the skys the limit. So, again, post suggestions of things, themes, characters or situations you might like to see explored in future novels and in return Ill include you (to whatever degree you are comfortable with) in one of the novels. Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
