Aah, Laurie Oakes has had a great career as a political journalist, well respected in the media. I find it strange that Laurie has outed himself as another lazy journo expecting to receive any information without investigating. Well Laurie, sometimes the Media needs to take its head out of the sand. Why feed the chooks when it will most likely taken out of context and possibly sensationalised? Lets compare Bob Brown and his beef with the media, and the fact that Abbott stated from the start there would be NO 24/7 selfies on social media or silly policy on the run speeches as Mr Rudd was addicted to, albeit at the angst of most Labor Party members. You reap what you sew Laurie, how about you get up off your fat arse and stop waiting for chookfood you seem to think is rightfully yours? You can’t thumb your nose at the voters’ right to know and you can’t arrogantly say ‘we’ll let the voters be misinformed and we won’t help journalists get it right. That’s just a disgusting attitude.
