Abdalhadi Hadi The situation in Gaza is very fragile and a humanitarian situation is going to be in crisis as Hamas, the ruling faction, trying to crackdown any of its opponents. The new regional and international political system has changed(precisely after Kerry-Lavrov agreement on Syria). There Re several scenarios awaiting Gaza and Hamas. The first is a crack down by Israel with a massive invasion to end the lengthy business with Hamas and other Palestinian factions. Unfortunately, this time is different, Hamas is at its lowest popularity among the Palestinians and Arabs. The reasons is that Hamas has put its nose in not-of-its-bussiness. They interfered in Egypt, then stood against Al-Assad and then called Hizbullah as a terrorist groups and most importantly, the creation of new class in the Gaza strip. Siege lords alike war lords. Moreover, the abuse of civil and human rights in the Gaza strip by the de-facto gov. Of Hamas. Besides that, Hamas has lost economically, the leaks says that it has lost around 2 billion US $ in Egypt with the crack down of the MB. The second scenario would be a small crack down by Israel against Gaza to give a try to raise Hamas popularity in order to keep the division between The Gaza strip and the West Bank, and yo keep the pretext of the siege and, somehow , the political deadlock in the Gaza strip. Gazans and the Islamic Jihad are going to pay the price of such israeli operation. NOT HAMAS. The last scenario which is happening is a slow motion death of Hamas by drying its economical and political opportunities by the Egyptians and other parts in the World. Hamas leaders, I assume, have a blind mind when it come to strategic thinking. They have put the Palestinian cause on risks of total collapse in a matter of 6 years. I hope they will wake up before the dead end finalize its way.
