Abdul Khaleque, a prominent Congress leader of the state, has proved me right in my admiration of him. Being neutral to party politics, I always observe the activities, moves and personality of our leaders having different political identities. Mr Khaleque hss been one of the very few of my favourites. In a talk show hosted by the news channel News Time Assam this evening to discuss the issues pertaining to the backwardness of the Muslims in the state, he has unhesitatingly pointed out that Muslim leaders irrespective of their party affiliations are responsible for the present state of affairs of the community. Hats off to Mr Khaleque for the honest admission !
