Abenanes! :) Its a beautiful day today! We will be Yohetta Wilderness Lodge bound today to go and visit with my boys Dax & Pacen; it should be a nice country drive; yesterday I attended the meeting at the Tletinqox Elders Centre on the updates of the Mount Polley Breach; very frustrating to know everything is still up in the air; the water sampling results that came back from the Government are not trustworthy; uncertainty around if the salmon is safe to consume & harvest at this point; therefore TNG along with the Shuswap & Carrier Nations will be conducting their own sampling & studies; which will at least give us some insight on what we are up against & decide on strategies to mitigate; was quite the meeting; we will be scheduling a meeting here in Xeni sometime next week to give an update to the community members; we will keep everyone posted; and there will be another Nations Meeting on this again on August 21st - last day of the Tsilhqotin Nations Gathering @ Henrys Crossing; stay tuned!
