Abolished and buried is more like it! ~ Greta Van Susteren: “The IRS Needs to Be Dismantled” capitalisminstitute.org/greta-says-dismantle-irs/ Greta Van Susteren, Fox News’ On the Record host, took to social media to speak out against the complexity of the US tax code and corrupt politicians exchanging tax loopholes for votes. “If the Obama administration and Capitol Hill really wanted to help,” she wrote, “they would dismantle the existing code and simplified.” Obama’s proposed budget would include tax breaks for those with lower incomes, but Greta asks why he does not just “go the whole way and REALLY help them” by totally dismantling the “absolutely absurd” 4-million-word tax code. Greta is right. Not only is the tax code wildly complex, but the IRS has been used as a weapon for political gains — whether they are “selling” loopholes for votes or censoring the president’s opponents. Moreover, they are now in charge of enforcing the most economically-destructive legislation in recent history — Obamacare. If politicians are really concerned about helping people, they would immediately begin work to abolish the entire agency.
