Aboriginals burnt the bush to make it easier for hunting,they were lazy like the non aboriginals are lazy .Anyway to say the old tribes were a mob of intelligent scientifically minded conservationists is pure Alice in wonderland stuff.Setting fire to bushland is a dangerous act of vandalism and to say it is noteworthy in any way smacks of political malarkey.The indigenous people were nomadic and responded to their situation in the best way they knew how and not in a way that was based on modern scientific computer modeled theory.I like aboriginals as much as I like non aboriginal people but I can see the practice of burning the bush was their culture and practice and for modern man to politicize this is a crime against common sense and reason.I believe we should apologize for using the indigenous causes and practices to our own agendas and politics and forget about playing social engineering games .And if the bush burning practice is truly recognized as a valid method of management then why don,t we emnploy the method seeing as the experts from the white mans universities say that is so.So we have politicians who deride each other in a childish parody of governance and in reality do very little to solve the problems of our world.Now i thought that they were elected to improve the lot of the voters and the nation but apparently they improve the lot of their own lifestyles at the detriment of the wider community.They break promises after being elected and this is tantamount to breaking a social contract with the voters.Anyone else who breaks their contract with the other party is quickly brought to heal by the establishment we call the justice system but politicians who engineer this system to work for them can delay justice or avoid it entirely.This is the age of smoke and mirrors.Their is a class war but it is almost invisible due to the clever use of the language and the legalese to confound and manipulate the electorate.We should be afraid of the enemy within our own midst.
