About 5 years ago, the NoBoard crew invited Wolfgang Nyvelt and Stefan Gruber out to the Kootenays for our annual celebration of legend and lost pal, Greg Todds. It was a long trip, but they came. Snows were pillaged and times were had. Shin Campos was a friend of these guys, and through him, I was able to get a board. There are a few ways to skin this bindingless cat, and riders have many choices... all of them have their advantages and downfalls, but none are as beautiful as an Äsmo Powsurf... Sliding Art, you might call them (at least an equal to the creations of Tim Wesley, builder of the gorgeous Shark Snowsurf boards). After a time, Cholo Burns and I decided to bring in a few. I wound up with all of them, but over time, weve spread the love a bit... Actor Scott Eastwood is on one. So too is ski assasin, Sean Pettit. Adam Balon rips the river valleys of Sasky on his, as well. While were on the shop owner tip, Ryan R from Royal Board Shop just got his at the Heavy Mental premiere in Calgary. As much as Id like to hoard them all for myself, lets get a few of these out the door to our Canadian friends who cant grip from Scott Sullivan. L to R... An Asmosphere... Short tail, BIG volume. The control of a shortboard with the float of the big Fish. An SIV1, cut down to Szygmondy length. This board is perfect for a beginner and is the stick you see Wolle getting loose on. 3 Big Fish in a variety of finishes. I helped them with this one, as I needed a big board to hold me up. Lastly, 2 TTS twins. If you have flatter slopes and want to see where bindingless trickery can go, this is a nice shape. For scale, the white Sims is a 160 and the red one behind, a 170. Get at me... A storms a comin.
