About Jazzy Jazz, 1. Born a musician but it took him more than 18 years to realise his talent and it took him about 4 more years to start taking music seriously. 2. 2001- Started singing in church at Mucheke Corps (Masvingo) after Tendai Jacobs and Resina Banda spotted his talent and made him part of the group Heavenly Harmony. 3. 2002 - Joined the group Cherubim at St Patricks High (Gweru). Recorded an album with Cherubim but it was never released. 4. 2004 - Recorded another album with Cherubim at True Vine Studios in Gweru but again it was never released. Started recording as an RnB artist at Shades of Life Ent in his hometown Masvingo. That same year, Jazzy was spotted by Shape Zimbabwe & recorded a song called Samantha. 5. 2006 - Jazzy Jazz recorded a track called Hana Yorova (ft Madiz and was on Power Fm) at Mo Sound Studios, (Gweru) under the name Mr Nash before he changed to Jazzy Jazz. 6. 2008 - Started singing with Anatsi Zabura. Later on formed the Duo called Magdalene Praise. This is the year Jazzy started appreciating Jazz as a genre and it was all because of Anatsis influence. 7. 2009 - recorded the Shape Zim album Tinzwei, Hear Us under the mentorship of Shapestone Musiyarira 8. 2010 - recorded the track Kugara Nhaka at Deep Roots Studio, Gweru(which is the title track for the upcoming album). 9. 2013 - the mature Jazzy Jazz, with the help of Tawanda Mukoko, Brian Ngwenya, Shingi Mangoma, Sailus Mupure, Kule Dumi, Manue Maposa, Thompson Chengeta, Anatsi Zabura, Sharon, Itai The Poet, Aggabu Nyabinde, Yulesis, Farai Sitiya, Lloyd M Mhishi, decided to record his debut 8 track album - Kugara Nhaka @ Real Sounds Records - due for release this January 2014 https://soundcloud/tinashe-davira
