About two and a half years ago, I walked into Lakewind Sound Studios Ltd. (to record my debut album). Mike and Fred had me listen to a recording of this tune by Dave Mckeough, their great friend and frequent collaborator who had just passed away in a car accident a few days earlier. The tune haunted me until I finally decided to learn it. I made it my own while trying to maintain a similar feel to Daves recording.
