About two-thirds of the way through my spring project (no, the other one)--placing battles of world history on Google Earth for future classes. Its surprisingly fun. Also interesting how the US has mostly done a good job of preserving battlefields, compared to Europe (though the Russians also do a fine job). Theres exceptions--Maryes Heights at Fredericksburg is pretty much gone--but finding old samurai battlefields in Japan is damn near impossible.
