About two years ago, someone abandoned two large dogs across from my home, in a wooded area, but close to a neighborhood. They stayed there for about four months, people fed them, dog catchers had no luck, they were too street smart. One day, it was so cold and raining, the female, who had been getting more and more friendly with me, came on my porch. I put a blanket and heating pad out there, and returned about an hour later. The male was out there also. They both walked in my house and have never left. Despite having to treat them both for heartworms, and the daily care, they have brought so much joy to my family.
