Accordingly they lost awareness and casually signed a peace treaty with Gibeons without consulting God first. Nevertheless, the treaty was signed and no matter what they had to comply with the terms and take up the responsibilities with pain, but Yet they could not afford another mistake to ruin their reputation by breaking the contract . Otherwise how could they stand up in front of people in the future?
