Abramovich has given the green light to the departures of all - TopicsExpress

Abramovich has given the green light to the departures of all three of Mourinhos strikers - £50 million Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Etoo - as well as the sales of other big money buys like David Luiz and John Obi Mikel. But Mourinho has been told there will be no money on top of what he brings in from sales, as Chelsea try to stay within Financial Fair Play rules. And that could even mean a departure for long-serving goalkeeper Petr Cech, who is still only 31 and c...oveted by many top clubs. Chelsea have brilliant young Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtois on loan at Atletico Madrid. Chelsea believe they can bring in more than £90m with the sale of Torres (£20m), Luiz (£30m), Romelu Lukaku (£20m), Mikel (£20m) and Ba (£5m) and also cut their wage bill with the likely releases of free agents Etoo, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard. Mourinhos No1 striking target is Atletico Madrids Diego Costa, who has a £31.5m buy-out clause. Bayern Munichs Mario Mandzukic (£25m) is also wanted, while PSGs Ezequiel Lavezzi, who scored in their Champions League victory on Wednesday and has previously tormented Chelsea with Napoli, is also reportedly a target. But if major expenditure is needed in midfield and defence, with Southamptons Luke Shaw a target, then one of star youngsters Hazard or Oscar might have to be sold. PSG want both and will make offers this summer, but Mourinho will fight to keep them. Lukakus agent Christophe Henrotay revealed yesterday that his man, after a successful season on loan at Everton, is on the way out. He said: Im looking for a club for Romelu. Ive talked to Daniel Levy, but that doesnt mean Romelu will definitely join Spurs. Chelsea would like to use Torres as part of the deal to sign Costa, but Atletico are less keen because he is already 30 years old. A loan deal could be the answer, but Chelsea do not want to subsidise his £175,000 a week wages. The possibility that Cech, rated at around £14m, could be sold will shock Chelsea fans after his glittering career at the club. But the popular Czech could bring money in, and Courtois is already paid for, has been brilliant in two years on loan at Atletico, and wants to return but only for a guaranteed first team place.
