Absolutely delighted with my U11 Downside team today for their pure energy and desire against a very good Rew Valley side. 0-0 at HT and we pushed on to get a winner, but it wasnt to be and we went down 3-0. A great game of passionate football from both teams. This group of boys have grown week in week out, and with many in their first season of football ever, I couldnt ask for more. They have come a long way in a short space of time. Its not about the points for me, but the effort and willingness to learn and grow. They play with big hearts and love it.
