Absolutely unreal dive we experienced in Tulum, Mexico a couple months ago. Rundown: In the middle of the forest of Tulum is a 200 foot cenote (natural pit/sinkhole). the first 80+ feet is freshwater followed by cloud-like hydrogen sulfide layer and saltwater beneath. We hit a max-depth of 141 feet at where significant narcosis is felt (much like being drunk underwater). The dive is looks like an underwater Tim Burton movie. It was seriously terrifying.
