Accident recap from eye witness. I am speechless. Edward survived being run over by a semi and thrown underneath. For those who dont believe in angels, miracles or even God. Maybe this will help you find your faith. August 13th, 2014 Edward Sessums was driving on the shoulder of the highway to go visit a friend. His scooter struck and hit an object and he was thrown off the scooter into the highway. We learned he was head first in the right lane. We also discovered the traffic was going around him. No one stopped. A man on a motor cycle in the far left lane heard Edwards screams. He saw Edward trying to get out of the highway. This man spun around and was rushing to help him. As he witnessed trucks moving into the other lane and passing him by he also witnessed the truck the hit him and continued. We learned Edward was run over by the 18 wheeler and thrown under the trailer. This threw his helmet off. Calvin was afraid to look because he thought there is no way this person survived. He continued to rush to Edward pulling him out of the highway. Edwards arm and leg were facing in the opposite direction that they are suppose to. He grabbed him and got him out of other harms way. This man saved our son. His risk his own life to save him. He called the hospital several times to find out if he had lived. The hospital couldnt answer his questions. Edward wanted to reach out to him so he called him. Calvin was surprised he was hearing his voice. He ask if he could come meet him. Today Edward met one of the angels that assisted in saving his life. I may never understand how one human being can be so giving but yet others are so selfish. This album will record Edwards journey in hopes it can help someone else. We are all Gods children. One not better than the other. Thank you teach each and everyone of you that have sent your prayers and kind words.
