According to 2 Chronicles 7:14, healing for our land requires more than praying for our elected officials. As believers it requires us (if MY PEOPLE who are called by MY NAME) to humble ourselves (Even if we think we are humble, begin to pray Lord, humble me.), to pray and seek Gods face (not just His Hands), and to turn from our wicked ways! We cant do this on our own! It requires the work of the power of the HOLY SPIRIT living in us! We must pray LORD humble ME, LORD give me a desire to spend time with YOU each and every day in YOUR WORD and not just talking with you, but listening to YOU. We must pray LORD, help me to be obedient to YOU and to live a holy life as YOU ARE HOLY, and for the HOLY SPIRIT to help us to do this and to convict us of sin in our lives and to help us repent of that sin and to turn away from those wicked things we do that we dont even see as sin in our lives. THEN, we will see God at work all across our land to bring about change, to bring about healing; to bring this Nation back to GOD ALMIGHTY - the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Triune GOD - Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit! God is more than able. (I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27 NIV) Are we as believers willing to do what is required of us to see God bring healing to our land?
