According to Rasmussen, only 10% of voters believe race relations have improved since Obama took office. This should surprise no one. The "civil rights movement" has essentially become a group of left wing race-baiters who appeal to white guilt as a tool of coercive wealth redistribution to themselves and their supporters. Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder has mostly poured gasoline on this fire. The norm of good race relations is to think of each individual primarily as an individual human being, not the member of some specific race, and then act accordingly. This is why policies such as affirmative action actually exacerbate racism rather than reduce or eliminate it.
