According to a major retailer that has come to Canada from the US, I wont reveal the name but it starts with Wal and ends with Mart, winter boots have a direct relation to the gender that you identify with. For those of us who identify as male, we can buy work boots, slip free boots, heavy snow boots, winter hiker style boots. All of which are lined, waterproof, and somewhat stylish. For those of us who identify as women, we get a wonderful selection of fake uggs, pretty rubber boots, knee high leather boots with wonderful high heels, or snow boots that look like they would fall apart on a journey farther than from the car to the store and back. Apparently, men work, and women look pretty. I dont want to look pretty when I am shoveling this winter.
