According to some non militant parents, children are better off living with someone, possibly the other parent, immobile because they are surrounded by loving family and can develop lifelong friends. In my opinion, they are basically stating that military children have crappy parents and they have NO lifelong friends... I beg to differ!!! I believe military children have the best benefit above all of us who grew up in non militant families. They have the opportunity to discover new areas of the US and the world, they have the opportunity to develop DIVERSE friendships, they have opportunities to discover new cultures, and they learn the importance of exploration and finding things they are passionate for that they may never find growing up in one specific area for 15 to 18 years of their life. Just my personal opinion(:
