According to the New York Posts Ken Davidoff, the mets like Jhonny Peralta a lot. He also predicts they sign Granderson as well. Granderson will cost the mets a pick but Peralta wont. Early speculation says Alderson is willing to give up ONE pick. Personally, i like Peralta over every other option at SS. Although i think Granderson may accept the 1 year deal. Hes not getting $14 million per year anywhere else. Maybe he takes more years and a lower yearly average. Say, 2yrs/ $22-$24 million? ~JT
