Acknowledge the Lord in all thy ways and He will direct your path. I set out to walk the dog this evening and the Lord showed me exactly what path I was to take on this walk. And when I came to the street I was to turn down, I decided myself to go up one more street and then make a turn for home. Little did I know what was waiting for me was the biggest dog Ive ever seen, an open backyard gate and an owner too disabled to restrain his dog. As this dog starts to run towards me Im swinging my poor twice bitten Shih Tzu almost airborne on her leash to keep from a another dogs chew toy in the span of just two weeks. Im yelling for the owner to get his dog and he yells back over the fence, Im crippled. Once I realized that my dog was its primary focus. I stopped swinging the dog by her neck and scooped her into my arms and headed for home. I thank God I wasnt attack by the massive animal and ask His forgiveness for not acknowledging Him and deviating from the path He had set before me. Moral of the story, when God directs your path be obedient and dont stray because your trying to do you own thing.
