Action 6 channel 6 did the same thing this morning and it reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally ticked me off. How the HELL can you equate a gas station being hit and dozens of children, elderly, women and men being killed? How? THIS IS NOT ANY KIND OF EQUIVALENCE. It is NOT a fair fight. NO ISRAELIS WERE KILLED. Barely any property was damaged. How many Palestinians were murdered? PLEASE stop saying that its a fight on both sides. One side is WAY WAY WAY more powerful and has the full might and power of the most militarized world power this planet has ever known behind it, which would be US. The amount of attention given to a few Jewish Americans who were hiding in bomb shelters and whose American mothers were freaked out was interesting. What was interesting about it was that they failed to show the Pali mothers and fathers BURYING THEIR DEAD CHILDREN. Its pretty sad when you cannot trust your countrys own news outlets. Makes you wonder what ELSE they are lying about. And it IS lying, because WHAT you choose to portray and how you frame it, and how much air time you chose to give THIS part of a story while you ignore THAT part, is lying. The US media needs to stop LYING about Palestine. Its not a fair fight, its not a military equivalence. The US-backed Israelis are killing Palestinians by the hundreds for every one Israeli who gets a scratch. Many years ago, back in the 70s and early 80s, Lowell Fuglie, who was neither Jewish nor Palestinian, nor Muslim nor Jewish, (but who knew grave injustice when he saw it) was a member of a group at a college in Minnesota I believe, to promote the cause of the Palestinians. That was only one of a great many things he introduced me to and opened my eyes about. Rest in peace, Lowell. You were always on the side of the good guys on a whole lot of things.
