Action Alert: This is REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT. The FDA is proposing to change rules for small alternative farms. These regulations are unnecessary and financially onerous and could put many small farms out of business. If you prefer to eat fresh, safe produce, if you shop at a farmers market, if you want a choice the farming community needs your help right now. Heres a link to FARFA with a sample letter and the address to mail the letter to. Scroll to the bottom and customize the sample. You cant just copy it. Yes, this will take more time than just liking or sharing (although we really need you to share too). However, if small farms are shutdown, it will take you a hell of a lot more time to grow the vegetables you need. Comments MUST be submitted by 11-15-2013.
