Actor John Challis – famed for playing dodgy car dealer ‘Boycie’ in hit-sitcom Only Fools and Horses – will sign copies of his autobiographies at Waterstones on Friday March 7 from 12.30pm. Challis will spend around an hour signing copies of his autobiography ‘Being Boycie’ and its sequel ‘Boycie and Beyond’. Fans will also be able to purchase his only novel ‘Reggie:A Stag at Bay’ – a comedy about a broke Shropshire businessman who lands an order for 200 live moles to send across the Irish Sea. Waterstones Manager Dawn Godfrey-Jones said it promised to be an enjoyable book signing for fans. “He’s really friendly, really personable and really engaging. He chats with everybody so it will be a good signing for people to come along to.”
