Acts 22:6-7 “As I was on my way and drew near to Damascus, about noon a great light from heaven suddenly shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ Saul, later known as Paul, realized his great mistake, the wasted life he had led. Saul had killed and imprisoned followers of Jesus, but now Jesus Himself was speaking. This moment converted an anti-Christian zealot into a Jesus-following fanatic. Those of us who follow Jesus have all had a moment of realization. Perhaps your moment with God was not an audible voice from heaven; maybe it was an indescribable comfort in hard times, a conversation with a believer, a televangelist, a Bible verse, a church experience.
