Acts 9:10-12 10 Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11 And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, 12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” After Jesus encountered Saul on the road to Damascus and directed him where to go, He paid a visit to a faithful servant named Ananias. Jesus calls him by name and Ananias without hesitation responds, “Here I am, Lord” and Jesus goes on to give him specific instructions for his next mission. Question, if Jesus spoke to you to day, would you recognize His voice? And would you be ready to answer His calling to live on mission? I pray that we may all walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. – Colossians 1:10
