The Crossing group led by young Capt (IO) of unit reached the bank ..surveyed the obstacle ... hammered the anchor pickets ... Walked up to the bridge (declared Notional blown up ) ..and with his party started to cross ... Murphys law .... or whatever law that pops up senior officers at places where defaulters engage in mischief .... Corps Cdrs entourage appeared ... Corps Cdr bellowed ... Son how are you walking the Notional(assumed non-existent ) Bridge Capt .... Sir Swimming Notionally and carried on walking making Air swimming motions of breast stroke with rest of his men following his example Frowned brows ..Corps cdr watched the entire part cross ...Pin drop silence ...all waiting for imminent explosion .. Once entire party crossed ... Corps Cdr ..... Son notionally you dropped the rope mid stream ..as team leader ..swim back and get it ...............
