Additional info on parking and nearby restaurants from a friend of ours that lives in Carlinville: There is also plenty of overflow parking directly across the street from the high school. It use to be the old Wal-Mart. There may be few spots available in McDonalds and some at DQ but those will fill up quick. The bleachers on the visitors side will fill up quickly as well but there is standing room in the end zone nearest the school. Lastly, they have been working on the railroad tracks and have installed a stop light near the tracks by the high school. That light can be lengthy when traffic is heavy so be prepared to arrive early. Two fast food places (McDs and DQ) within walking distance of the high school for those that want to eat before the game.
