Adiophora: things that are indifferent scripturally; the Bible neither commands nor prohibits them. Three Filters for Adiophora: 1. The word of our authorities. 2. Is it for Gods glory? 3. Does it affect my brother? Sometimes I must be compelled to violate my authorities if it compels me to do something that is sin. There are times for civil disobedience--when there is a crisis of conscience. When you decide to commit civil disobedience, it should be done thoughtfully, carefully, and with prayer.
