Admirable restraint on the part of the Israeli soldiers. Harass cops or federal agents (BLM- the younger Bundy who was arrested) here in the US like that, and more often than not, youll get your head knelt on while youre arrested yourself. This is what it looks like when a country takes its own security seriously. Why arent we doing this on our own border? Too young to be arrested? I didnt see them in cuffs. Are they really under arrest? Or do the soldiers just need a quiet place to ask the kids some questions (for which the parents should absolutely be present)? Maybe they are too young to be arrested, but we learned in Vietnam theyre not too young to be lookouts, hold a rifle, or inform on troop movements. Hamas routinely fires on Israel from hospitals and schools so that when Israel has to defend itself, Hamas can claim Israel is bombing hospitals and schools. NOT SAYING THIS IS THE CASE, but given their craven terror tactics in the past, its not unreasonable to my mind to think that Hamas may have given these kids (with or WITHOUT their knowledge) some kind of homing signal for a rocket attack in the near future. Seems plausible to me. In Israel, they have real security threats to deal with, what with Hamas lobbing rockets at them all the time or blowing themselves up at restaurants and weddings. If these kids had done nothing wrong, Israelis have better things to do than make them late for school. 1.6 million Arabs live and/or work in Israle, peacefully and prosperously. The ones that commute from Palestine have to keep where they work secret, for fear of reprisal from their own people, not the Israelis. Israeli hospitals and doctors routinely treat Palestinians, including children, wounded in Palestinian and Hamas terror attacks on Israeli sidewalks. Israel doesnt harass, arrest, or decapitate people for being the wrong race or faith or from the wrong country. That would be fundamentalist Muslims. Lets not forget three kidnapped Israeli teenagers that recently showed up without their heads - just because theyre Israeli. Israel wrote (or read) the book on restraint. Itll take a lot more than a perp-walk for a couple kids to arouse my suspicions here. #teamIsrael
