Adrian Hirst says: Hi, I was roaming a beach a couple of weeks ago and in a secluded area I found this large ring. I know nothing about metal so I don’t know if this is copper or bronze or whatever! I have asked so many people what they think it is, but everybody is baffled. On the inside of the ring, there seems to be a thick pin which travels half way round from the hole that you see in one of the photos. I really would appreciate any help in identifying this item…..
