Adventure for yesterday!! Sammy and I drove over to Janice Beld to sew. Leo called about 3:00 saying it was snowing in Badger and that it was really getting nasty. We sewed for a bit and left about 4:30. The roads were snow packed, could hardly see ahead of us. Got to Lake Norden, heading home about 4 miles from home I hit some ice, went into the ditch, ran over a road sign, ending up almost on the road. No real damage to the van, Called Leo, he came out, couldnt get me out. Many cars passed and went by. Along came a young man, stopped and very soon pulled Leo out. Some one called the sheriff when they went by, and he came out and parked his car with the flashers going. Soon we were on our way home. Sammy and I decided we really never wanted to have going In to the ditch on our bucket list, but decided we would mark it off anyway. All is well now!!
