Adventure in Ireland: Day 8 - We spent the morning at Newgrange Monument. The weather turned and it was really windy and pouring (side-ways) rain, but we still headed to the amazing ancient sight of Newgrange. It is a burial mound for Irish Neolithic people and quite fascinating. There is a lot of other Neolithic sights (somewhere around 600, I think) in the area, but we could only make it to this one (but it was great) before heading back to Dublin to catch an afternoon flight to Edinburgh. We are back in Scotland for the night, then we will head south to England for the rest of the trip. I will be USA bound in just under two weeks.
