Adventure time! Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult zip-line in Singapore as they take a break from promoting new film Equals They star in futuristic film Equals. And it appears that Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult have fast become friends as they were spotted enjoying some high flying activities in Singapore. Fans posted photos to a website dedicated to tracking K-Stew of the duo zip-lining and go-kart racing during a recent visit to the country. The 24-year-old actress wore a flat billed cap, black shorts and matching T-shirt as she donned long socks and trainers. Hoult, also 24, sported a red snap back cap and T-shirt and shorts for the outing that seemed hell bent on adventure. Kristen was also pictured posing with fans where she gave the thumbs up while graciously giving ample time to her Singaporean following. The actress plays central character Nia in the new film – in which all humans are ‘equals’ in a near future where feelings of love, hate and envy have been erased. Given the stark backdrop, British star Hoult – who takes the role of love interest Silas - admitted it was challenging to manufacture on-screen emotions. ‘It’s always a weird position to be put in any film where the director chooses two people and is saying “Hey, potentially in this world I’m creating you two could fall in love,”’ he said. Universal symbols: Kristen gave the thumbs up as a fan gave the shaka sign ‘Sometimes (the situation) feels forced and tricky and awkward, but the kind of environment Drake (Doremus, director) created was straight forward and easy. ‘Kristen is a great actress and that just makes it very relaxed and my job very easy.’ Meanwhile his co-star admitted the visceral emotions her role demanded were less problematic. ‘I’m definitely not afraid of “feels.” My life revolves around it actually,’ she said. ‘Finding the balance between the head and the heart is important but I’ve always been very driven by the gut. ‘Every thought or articulated emotion starts in shapes and colours and putting your finger on that is cool, but it’s not necessary.’ Equals has a loose release date for 2015.
