Introduction Barloworld Transport, a leading logistics and freight company, is looking for a Project Manager to be based at our head office in Hilton. Minimum Requirements Reporting to the Group Technical Manager, this position will include the following responsibilities: Purpose of the Job • Project co-ordination between the suppliers of New Fleet and Equipment, Technical Managers, Fleet Managers and Business Development teams. • Manage and understand all associated processes and documentation relating to the successful, timely delivery of new fleet and equipment into our growing business. • Manage and facilitate the process of other related technical projects. • Compile status update reports and keep records of progress and reasons for delays. • Manage information flow, resources and milestones to ensure deadlines are met, and ensure remedial action is taken to minimise the impact of delays. • Hold weekly update sessions/telecons with the team to ensure alignment and clarity of roles across a number of projects. Minimum Requirements • Matric / Grade 12. • Tertiary qualification in Project Management. • Minimum three years experience in project management. • Microsoft Project experience. • Strong computer literacy. • Previous people management experience.
