The Bronzewing fire 12 KM SOUTH WEST OF OUYEN is contained. DEPI and CFA crews will continue to black out and patrol around the containment lines of this fire. Wyperfeld National Park, including Lake Albacutya, Big Desert Wilderness Park and the section of the Murray Sunset National Park south of the Sturt Highway will remain closed to the public over the long weekend and into next week. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 27/01/14 4:30 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions.
