Firefighters are continuing to work in steep country on the bushfire 15 Km WNW MATLOCK . Ground crews will continue working on this fire overnight. The fire has burnt 8 hectares and is not yet under control. This fire has changed name and references to both the Big River -Snowy Road fire and the Big River-Frenchmans Creek Track fire are both referring to this fire. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Stay up to date with road closures at vicroads.vic.gov.au. The next update is expected by 17/01/14 9:00 AM or as the situation changes. Stay Informed: Via cfa.vic.gov.au.
