Advice Issued For: Patchewollock, Timberoo South, Torrita, Underbool, Walpeup, Linga, Boinka Fire Origin: 15KM NW YAAPEET Incident Name: WYPERFELD NATIONAL PARK - LAKE Issued: 23/01/14 9:45 AM This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Patchewollock, Timberoo South, Torrita, Underbool, Walpeup, Linga, Boinka. People will see fire activity in the north east corner of Wyperfeld National Park 15 km south of Underbool. CFA and DEPI fire crews will patrol the fire overnight. On Thursday ground crews and aircraft will continue to black out hot spots within the fire area. There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. A community fire information meeting will be held at the Underbool Public Hall on Thursday 23rd of January from 8:00 pm. The next update is expected by 24/01/14 9:00 AM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions.
