Advice Needed! Silas spits up violently if he is given a bottle. I am talking out his NOSE! It is awful! The doctor has him taking rice with a bottle to thicken it and force it to stay down. It helps some. If he nurses he does not spit up but a little, but the doctor wants some of his feedings to be mixed with a special preemie formula. The formula is not mixed with water.
