Advice needed please. My first attempt at building a UDS. 55 Gallon drum, 3/4 x 24 black pipe, 1 3/4 hole in back at same level as piped holes for intake. Bung hole open on top for exhaust (plan to add some type of cover for protection later. The charcoal bowl is a 14 diameter cheap grill. The problem is I cant get it to go over 200 and it wont hold for very long (3 hours tops). I have an idea but would certainly appreciate the advice of anyone who has been there....done that. Thanks in advance. I am all set to smoke on this bad boy. And BTW - GO BROWNS!
