Advice please..... some interested in adopting one of my kids prefer to visit before they fill out the application... Here is why I prefer they fill out the application first... I have had people visit, get all excited, fall in love and I have had to deny them. It spares their feelings and to be honest and saves a lot of my time not to sound selfish however these kids keep me busy. I hold applications for 30 days, say they visit and so and so was not right for them or did not get along with there other animals.. They do not have to fill out another to visit any of the new crew.. The reason for only 30 days is a lot can happen in that time... You never know what can change.. I was even thinking of changing it to 2 weeks.. Any thoughts? Please be gentle LOL
