Safety Full time Degree in Engineering (Civil /Mechanical /Electrical) with Full time Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized under Industrial Safety / Factorys Act. Geology Full time M.Sc./M. Tech. (Geology/Applied Geology/ Geophysics) with Engineering Geology as main subject or M.Sc./ M. Tech. in Engineering Geology. Architecture Full Time Degree in Architecture from a recognized University / Institute of India Company Secretarial Graduate and qualified Company Secretary with membership of the Institute of the Company Secretary of India. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personnel Interview based on the performance in written test. Test Centers: The written test will be held in the following centers: Shimla, Dehradun, New Delhi and Patna. Candidates have to choose any two cities as preference -1 and preference-2 as Test Center and no change in any circumstance will be considered subsequently. However, SJVN reserves the right to add/delete any Center and allocate any Center to the candidates. Written Test: The test will be in two parts, Part-I will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions of the relevant discipline and Part-II will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions on Executive Aptitude. The eligible candidates will be informed separately about the date and venue of the Written Test. Please visit the SJVN website for information on the same.Group Discussion & Personal Interview: Based on the merit and requirement, the candidates qualifying the written test will be informed separately and be required to undergo Group Discussion and Personal Interview before the Companys Central Selection Board. Please visit the SJVN website for information on the same. Placement: The selected Trainees shall undergo one year training at various places. The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of training. Candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Projects/ Stations or offices. Age Limit: Upper Age Limit is 30 years as on closing date of advertisement. Service Agreement Bond: The selected candidates who belong to General and OBC category will be required to execute a service agreement bond of R. 2, 50,000/- to successfully complete the prescribed training and thereafter serve the company for at least 3 years. This amount is R. 1,50,000/- for SC/ST category and Physically Challenged candidates. Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R 300/-. The Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from the website after completing the registration process. After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip and pay-in -slip generated by the system with unique registration number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration Slip which will be required at the time of written test and interview along with the proof of having deposited the application fee. Mode of payment of Application fee: There will be two payment options, online (Payment Gateway) or Offline (Bank Challan/ Payin-slip).
