Afghan, Pakistani businesswomen to meet next year. The US department of Commerce is preparing to organize a joint conference of Afghan and Pakistani women entrepreneurs in Islamabad in March, media reports said Saturday. Pakistani media outlets reported that over 25 Afghan businesswomen would participate in the conference that would provide an opportunity to Pakistani women entrepreneurs to have direct contact with their Afghan counterparts and enhance bilateral trade. This was stated by a US embassy delegation at a meeting with the business community of Potohar Region during its visit to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on late Friday.
