African Union Decides To Continue Suspension of #Egypt The African Unions High Level Panel on Egypt has decided to maintain its decision to suspend Egypt from the AU, which was taken in July 2013 following the deposal of former President Mohammed #Morsi. The African Union suspended Egypt due to the lack of constitutional order. Reports and analysts indicate that the suspension will be lifted once Egypt elects a new President. Earlier this month, US President Obama decided to not invite Egypt to the first African-US Summit that will be held in Washington D.C.
