After 10 Years, Countless Days, Weeks, Months & Years Spent In Correctional Facilities I am Finally Off Probation/Parol. I Feel As Though I Should Be Happier Then I am, Yet Ive Come To Realize I Have Nothing To Be Happy For In This Particular Matter. Ive Lost So Much Do To My Own Actions. Family, Friends, Opportunities, Time & Much Much More. I am Happy To Finally Rid Myself of The Jackson County Legal System, But As To Why I Should Be Over Joyed That I am Finally Doing What Millions Do Everyday, Living Right, I am At A Loss. At What Price Did This Small Victory Come With? And If You Could Price It Out, I Was The One Who Created The Price, Yet Never Received Payment. Payment Would Be Obtaining All That I Have Lost Due To The Price. So Here I am, 23, Paid My Debts In Full Yet Still Carrying The Weight of Those Debts & Losses. Still Working To Mend And Fix Those Debts & Losses. Yet, Of All The Things I Can Truly Never Get Back, Time Is The Most Valuable and Irreplaceable. Time To Do And Be Who I May Once Have Been. Time To Spend With The Ones I Value Most. I Hope This Status Stops At Least One Individual From Making The Choice of Severely Breaking The Law And Being Able To One Day Write Your Very Own Status Just Like This.
