After 10 years working for the Texas A&M System, I left. I just completed my first week as the Benefits Manager for St Joseph Health System. I have so much to learn and might be a little overwhelmed...nothing a few Dr Peppers and a little HGTV cant make better. I feel blessed with this new opportunity and look forward to growing in my new position. This organization is run by some very strong, confident women and I look forward to learning from them. I am blessed already with an amazing group of co-workers. I look forward to learning all about the world of health care. To be a part of a place of healing and care...full of compassionate people...is right up my alley. This opportunity is a gift from God. I truly believe with some past hardships He was preparing me for this opportunity. When this opportunity came about I opened my bible and read Jeremiah 29:11...for HE has plans to prosper me not to harm me. When I was offered the job I cried out to God to show me the path HE wanted me to take...and that morning at church the song leader reminded us as we go into the new year to remember Jeremiah 29:11. Ok. Got it, Lord. Thank you for blessing me! Go me!
